My father-in-law looked at us and said, "Well, let's get back to work." We protested saying that he had given up enough of his time and the deck was beautiful and would do as it was. To this he responded, "When you're doing a job for someone else, you shouldn't be happy with your work until they're happy with your work. Good enough isn't good enough."
